Fly Fishing Weekend
March 9 - March 11, 2018
From reading the water and selecting the fly to rigging and techniques to make the perfect presentation, these clinics will provide participants the opportunity to ask questions and get the one-on-one attention needed to be successful at the pursuit of fly fishing. Nothing is more gratifying than creating a fl y and catching a fi sh on your creation! The morning will be tying and preparing for the trout pond. The second day will be built around preparing for and fishing the lower Dan River home to rainbow, brook and brown trout. The last day will based around fishing wild trout waters and the techniques and skill sets needed to fool wild trout in a wild stream. Including some great local advice on casting under a tight tree canopy.
