HUNTING AT PRIMLAND
  • Wingshooting: Upland hunts are offered from September through April, seven days a week in half-day segments. Whether afield with your personal gun-dog or with one of ours, Primland's friendly and courteous staff will work hard to ensure a safe and productive hunt.
  • Deer Hunting: Deer hunting is offered during Virginia's Early Muzzel-loading and general firearms seasons, which occur in November and early December. Guests may hunt from elevated stands or stalk and "still" hunt within the boundaries of their assigned hunting areas. Primland guides will assist in recovery of downed game and processing of venison is available. Guests should be prepared for a wide temperature range, as fall weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains is unpredictable.
  • Spring Gobbler Hunting: Guided hunts are offered April through mid-May. Since the elusive Gobbler makes its home in the most rugged and inaccessible parts of the Blue Ridge, the ability to hike physically challenging terrain is essential.
